Review/ Shining & Funeral Dirge: "The Sinister Alliance"

“The Sinister Alliance” is a compilation of Kvarforth´s two projects, Shining and Funeral Dirge plus three industrial intros composed by Orias (Mrok).

Kvarforth´s music is dark and oppressive, expressing an incredible pain. The music is based on elevated rhythms linking slow and quick parts. The pace of the quick guitars will lift you up to dark and powerful thoughts, while the frontman is screaming and releasing his entire sufferings, making these unbearable feelings of torment palpable. On the other hand, in my opinion, the dark industrial songs from Orias should have been distinctly separated from the others due to stylistic differences.

The album is released on a 7 inch vinyl format and includes inlay and two stickers, with the package strictly limited to 666 copies, hand numbered. A rare gem for every collector.
