Supersilent: "9" a Moog-trialogue
TobiasFor their latest full-length, after all, as always available from reliably excellent local label Rune Grammofon, Supersilent were able to draw from no less than three fruitful sessions. For „9“, they opted for the music recorded at the Henie Onstad art center a little off Oslo, where they disrupted the Keys/Bass/Percussion constellation and entered into a puristic trialogue of three Hammond Organs. As always with this band so in love with anonymity (there is no myspace account, no official website and their unofficial web presence offers little to no data), neither listening excerpts nor background information have been made available at this point yet. Rune Grammofon, however, have referred to the album as „their most avant garde and otherworldly recording so far“, strongly suggesting that Supersilent may be off to entirely different shores once again.
„9“ will become available on October 5th. No Supersilent tour dates in support of the album have been announced as yet, but for all those wishing to taste a little Norwegian Impro-magic, Arve Henriksen is on the road through Germany and Italy until the 10th of October at least.
