Review/ Traumatic Voyage: "Cogito Ergo Sum"
TobiasTraumatic Voyage are by now well know in our column Metal Visions International; the most curious and adventurous of you have certainly taken a look and a listen at Astorian´s art – I congratulate the survivors.
“Cogito Ergo Sum” was originally recorded in 1998, but was not released to the public until now; Merciless Records made it possible. The album is in the vein of the last releases, presenting an extreme & deep-thinking black metal: The titletrack, just to give one example, will certainly surprise many with its electro samples. “Cogito Ergo Sum” is full of bizarre images and deep thoughts, mixing reality, dreams, chaos and emptiness.
As Astorian says “The ones who dares and tries, wins“. Escape from the masses blindness and open yourself or are you to afraid to live the real traumatic voyage? Traumatic Voyage will not leave you cold, the project inevitably touches you from the bottom of your soul. To put it short: This is yet another masterpiece of extreme art.
